Like most English villages, Condicote has many levels of
government.At the local level, Condicote has a
Parish Council.
The council currently consists of 5 councillors: Mrs Christine
Wynn (Chair), Mr
David Clare (Vice-Chair), Mrs Lindsay Coleman, Mr John
Malcom and Mr Ray Akers. The Parish Council was uncontested last
time so no election took place.
The Council Clerk is Mrs Ivy Dronsfield.
The Parish Council meets every 2 months, dates advertised
locally. Meetings are held at the
Village Hall and are open to the public. All official
notices, meeting agendas and minutes are published on the
village notice board. Copies are available for viewing from the
Clerk.
Condicote is located in the
Fosseridge Ward of
Cotswold
District Council. The District Councillor for this Ward is
Mr Colin Methven.
The local County Council is
Gloucestershire.
Our
County Councillor is
Mr Barry Dare.
The County Council is responsible for, amongst other things..

* registration of births, marriages and deaths
* libraries
* fire and rescue
Our
Member of Parliament is
Mr
Geoffrey Clifton-Brown, shown here with his family. He
represents the constituency of Cotswold, which includes many of
the towns and villages surrounding Condicote.
